約1,300㎡の延床面積を誇る3フロア構成のVilla Quantumは、端正なフォルム、均整の取れたプロポーション、そして控えめなエレガンスを軸とした現代的な住まいの在り方を体現しています。機能性と洗練を兼ね備えたこのレジデンスは、コンクリート、木材、ガラスが絶妙なバランスで調和する、洗練されたマテリアル構成が特徴です。また、本プロジェクトを象徴する要素のひとつが「水」との関係性です。上階からは海、中間階からはプール、そして下階からはプールの底面から水中を望むことができ、建築を巡る動線に沿って、水が織りなす連続した景観を楽しめます。
エントランスでは、幾何学的な開口部が自然光を柔らかく濾過する鉄筋コンクリートのポーチの下で、マルシオ・コーガン / Studio MK27のElas Cord Outdoorアームチェア2脚がゲストを迎えます。そこから、コンクリート、木材、ガラスで構成された印象的な階段が住まいのメインスペースへと導き、光と素材、そして透明感が織りなす豊かな表情を次々と映し出します。
団らんのための空間は、人々が自然に集い、時間を共有できるよう、開放的で流れるようなレイアウトで構成されています。メインリビングでは、ロドルフォ・ドルドーニのRogerシーティングシステムが、吊り下げ式暖炉と壮観な吹き抜け空間と調和し、ジャンピエロ・タリアフェッリのDiagrammaコーヒーテーブルと、nendoのTorii Boldアームチェアとプーフが、簡潔で洗練された美しさを添えています。大型スライディングガラスと、梁や柱のない構造が、周囲の景観との視覚的な連続性をさらに高め、建築と自然の境界を曖昧にしています。
屋内のダイニングエリアは、ハンネス・ピールのNicoテーブルを中心に、nendoのToriiダイニングアームチェアを組み合わせています。一方、屋外のダイニングエリアでは、マルシオ・コーガン / Studio MK27のBézier Dining OutdoorテーブルとTape Cord Outdoorダイニングアームチェアが同じデザイン言語を受け継ぎ、インフィニティプールと地中海の絶景を望む開放的な空間を演出しています。
アウトドア空間は、このプロジェクトの最も特徴的な要素の一つです。光に満ち、水平線へと大きく開かれたラウンジエリアとテラスは、地中海ならではのライフスタイルを余すところなく体現しています。ここには、ガムフラテーシのDaylight Daybedデイベッドと、マルシオ・コーガン / Studio MK27のQuadradoシーティングシステムが配され、屋外でありながら、室内と変わらない快適性と洗練を実現しています。
こうした開放的な空間とは対照的に、マスタースイートやベッドルーム、屋内プールを備えたウェルネスエリアといった、よりプライベートな空間は、心身を癒やし、プライバシーを確保するための静かな隠れ家として設計されています。マスタースイートでは、マルシオ・コーガン / Studio MK27のBrasilia BedとSuperquadraベンチ、さらにハンネス・ピールのLilliamアームチェアが、落ち着きと安らぎに満ちた空間を演出し、素材、プロポーション、そして自然光が一体となり、穏やかで静謐な雰囲気を創り出しています。
